Byron L. Marler
Artist - Painter
Byron’s interest in art began at an early age and was encouraged by his mother and aunt, both artists themselves. Education and career took another path in meteorology. He began formal lessons in art during the late 2000’s from Bob Anderson in northern California. More recently Helen Schafer -Garcia, Richard Stergulz, Barbara Roth, and Kazuaki Uehara have guided his art experience. His paintings have won ribbons in San Diego County Fair and the Escondido Art Association.
"Love of outdoors, seascapes and weather often guides my art expression. Time spent growing up in New Mexico, family trips to Nebraska, life in northern California, vacations in Hawaii, and now living in the San Diego area are all influences on my paintings. We live surrounded by nature’s beauty."
